Nina and Cecil have been pillar members of Faith Baptst Church for over 45 years. They served faithfully, prayed fervently, and remained steadfast throughout the ups and downs of church life. Nina will be greatly missed, but Heaven is sweeter for her presence. Both Nina and Cecil are what Jesus called the “salt of the earth.” We will miss Nina deeply, and pray daily for Cecil’s comfort and consoltion. –Pastor Monte

I knew Nina back in the 1960’s from Faith Baptist Church. We sang in the choir together. Nina was such a joy and inspiration to me. We had a lot of fun and laughs back then and I have always thought about her and all the good times we had. The Christian lady that she was, I know that she is now in heaven. She was truly a very special lady and a dear friend. May she rest in peace and one day we will see each other again. MAY GOD BLESS!!

Dear Kerry, Glenda & all –
I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I know she had been ill for quite some time so hope you find comfort in knowing that she is not suffering any longer. We have lost both of our parents now and know how it breaks your heart to lose your mother. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. I’m sorry that I was ill last night and didn’t get to offer my condolences then. Hope to see you soon!
    Sincerely, Mike and Cheryl Clossey

    Dear Cecil and Family,
We offer you our deepest sympathy at this time. We met Cecil and Nina some 23+ years ago when we joined F.B.C. Cecil worked hard on the one man church janitorial/handiman staff. I was in the office a lot using the copying machine and would often talk to Cecil. That Cecil is a talker!!!!! But, I enjoyed every minute. I always loved Nina’s slow, sweet, southern accent and how she called everybody, “Baby”. While church secretary, I would often call Nina. She was always concerned about others and wanted to be a blessing to everyone. She often talked about her three sons and grandchildren. Cecil, after seeing pictures of Nina at the viewing… what did you do to deserve such a sweetie! Just kidding! You know we love you, too.
Thank you for all the service you gave to F.B.C. such as ministering to the Boy’s School, driving busses, fixing things, etc., etc. We just don’t know what all you did do, but GOD does. Remember this… Nina is God’s child first… and was only on loan to you! May God give you and your family the peace that passes all understanding at this time.
